SWAN AVIATION has been engaged by RME Geomatics (a division of Rocky Mountain Equipment) to design, author, publish and validate a full Safety Management System (SMS) in line with Transport Canada Canadian Aviation Regulations for their unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) surveying operations (Primarily LiDAR, Ortho, RGB and IR).

In addition to the SMS, SWAN AVIATION subject matter experts are also creating a fully detailed UAV / RPAS pilot training program, Aviation Occupational Health and Safety (AOSH) system and providing ongoing operations support in an embedded consulting role.

SWAN AVIATION was asked to create a statistical simulation of flight dispatch operations to assist in effective planning. SWAN AVIATION subject matter experts detailed flight dispatch processes, gathered detailed process data over 2 months and built a highly complex monte-carlo simulation to allow the airline to perform "what if" scenarios for different aspects of dispatch operations planning.
